It’s so easy to look at the “bad” in a situation. To look for and see the bad in others but why do what’s easy? Constantly being in this frame of mind will only make the heart tired and heavy. It really burdens the you mentally and before you know it, EVERYTHING is miserable and you’re one big pile of negativity.
Rather than putting yourself in misery, why not look at the positive in a situation, the good in others. Doing so will make you feel light and happy. Granted there are times you just want to scream your head off but before letting yourself lose, take a deep and introspect. Look at the situation from a different angle and move away from the negativity.
Had a monster interval run training session scheduled yesterday.
I was feeling strong and new I could finish it strong but had to stop after a few sets because the shoes I was wearing was straining my foot. Just when I was at my high! In my zone!! It was frustrating but instead of focusing on what I couldn’t do, I took a deep breath and moved on to what I COULD do. Strengthening exercises for my glutes and legs. Lol!
